Battle Of Boston By The Numbers

==================================================================================================
Near century-old rivals BOSTON COLLEGE and BOSTON UNIVERSITY stand on their respective blue lines at the neutral site venue of the new Garden in Beantown just prior to yet another splendid installment of the always exciting “Battle of Commonwealth Avenue”.

It is a clash of traditional collegiate hockey titans that goes by many names including “The Green Line Rivalry”, a reference to the iconic trolley line that links the two schools situated less than five miles from each other in one of America’s oldest cites.

Whatever the accompanying moniker and whatever, in fact, happens to be the occasion, there is nothing in the world quite like fierce foes BOSTON COLLEGE and BOSTON UNIVERSITY battling for possession of a little piece of black vulcanized rubber on any given patch of ice.
